Caring for community

“I’ve lived in the St. Albert area for many years. This is where I’ve raised my two boys and where my family calls home. Giving back to my community means everything to me. It’s been such an honour to be able to support my community over the years through coaching hockey, participating in donation initiatives, and supporting the local Food Bank and the Stollery Children’s Hospital. Community involvement has become such a fundamental part of who I am, and it inspires the way I work and live.

Being fully immersed and involved in my community allows me to build genuine relationships with my clients, and it gives me a unique lens into understanding who they are, what they need, and what will work for their family. It’s a really special feeling when a child you once coached starts talking to you about a career in real estate, or when a neighbour trusts you to help them buy or sell a home. When you live in the community you serve, it makes everything so relatable and personal. On top of that, when you’re able to build great relationships with people and they trust your expertise, your job becomes very easy.

To me, real estate is about more than homes on the market. It’s about supporting your community and equipping folks with the right information to make decisions that are best for them. When I’ve played a role in caring for my community, either through charity initiatives, volunteerism or sharing my expertise, I know I’m giving something back to the people and places that have given so much to me. It is incredibly rewarding and is one of the biggest reasons why I love being a trusted real estate agent in St. Albert.”
